These solutions are designed and developed "from the ground up" enabling a long term, future proof and fit for purpose solution. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a successful and critical area of the business.The new Senior Software Developer will bring their proven full stack development experience to a creative, innovative, flexible, and pro-active team. The development practices of the team are agile and pragmatic. We’re looking for like-minded people who want to both learn and help develop practices that make us become more and more successful.Our Ideal Person will bring:Experience in a full-stack development roleKnowledge of the full software development lifecycleTechnology languages: C# and WPF**NB – The company currently operate on the WPF framework – but we are working towards next generation systems. Your knowledge of WPF or ability to adapt quickly is a key component in this role and the system transition’Proven experience with Microsoft SQLProven experience using the NET core framework / .NET Framework is desirableFront end WEB development experience is desirablePrevious experience working with an in-house development teamExperience working in an agile environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills & strong numerological/mathematical skillsA commitment to a full-time site-based role in New Delhi – working hours somewhat reflective of UTCPrevious experience working with a UK based businessShared ideas, an open and honest approach, and a desire to be fully immersed in collaboration & contributionIn this role, you will:Be responsible for building in depth and excellent knowledge of Europa Software Systems and a true understanding of Europa Business areas and practicesProduce code that is performant, well formatted, efficient, easily readable, maintainable, and appropriately commentedParticipate in code reviews of your own work and lead code reviews of other team member work to ensure a high level of qualityContribute to the development of system design policies, standards and selection of architectural componentsAdopt and adapt system design methods, tools and techniquesAttend and participate in daily stand ups, design and specification meetings, showcases and retrospectives as part of the AGILE work practices of the development teamLeverage AGILE/XP principles to understand and suggest improvements to the development processTake initiative to utilise libraries; pair programming, modern language features and tools where appropriate to solve problems efficiently, whilst adopting a pragmatic approach to solution designWhat you can expect from us:Competitive salary package18 days annual leave, plus all 10
