Key responsibilities include analyzing engineering drawings, performing measurements, interpreting data, troubleshooting errors, and collaborating with quality control and engineering teams.Key responsibilities:Programming: Write and edit inspection programs for CMMs using specific software, based on blueprints and 3D models.Setup: Prepare and set up the CMM machine and measurement fixtures for each specific part.Operation: Operate the CMM machine to perform measurements on manufactured parts and prototypes.Analysis: Analyze measurement data to ensure products meet all specifications and dimensional requirements.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during programming or operation.Quality control: Verify that parts meet quality standards and document findings.Collaboration: Work with other departments like engineering and quality control to ensure product accuracy.Required skills and qualifications:Proficiency in reading and interpreting 2D drawings, 3D models, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Experience with CMM programming software (e.G., PC-DMIS, Calypso).Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of CMM operation and maintenance.Experience in dimensional inspection of precision components.Familiarity with quality management systems like ISO 9001 can be beneficial.Diploma or BE In mechanical Engineering
