Company Description We are setting up a CoE in Pune for an US based Enterprise Software Organization in workforce accommodation space. We are looking for a dynamic Engineering leader with prior experience of setting up & scaling India delivery centers. This is a full-time Pune based role as the Vice President of Engineering / India Site Leader, Sitting on our Leadership team, leading the R&D Center of Excellence (COE) is a critical leadership role responsible for product roadmap delivery, operational excellence, and overall success of the local Engineering team. The Site Leader will lead a multidisciplinary team and act as a key liaison between the India team and other Engineering Leadership Team peers. Product Development: Accountable for team’s productivity and delivery of product roadmap from an R&D center of excellence. Manage cost, time, and risk for each product. Deliver high-quality products and services on schedule and within budget. Identify operational efficiencies and bottlenecks across operations. Strategy and Innovation: Lead business transformation and build new teams. People Management: Understand the India talent market. Hire, grow, and retain top talent. Lead cross-functional teams and ensure performance meets goals. Provide strong leadership, develop and monitor individual and team performance goals, and coach and mentor senior leaders to drive major change initiatives. Culture Building: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Adapt and demonstrate company culture. Create a sustainable dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities and high performance among team members. Stakeholder Management: Position India as a strategic talent market. Required Education and Experience ~20+ years of experience in product development and services delivery and minimum 5 years in senior global leadership role. Enterprise Software business experience & Java knowledge is preferred. ~ Experience in managing a technology captive center and exposure to Cloud based products preferred. ~ Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed and virtual environment, dealing comfortably with global stakeholders. ~ Proven experience in talent growth and team leadership. ~ Background in business thought leadership, with knowledge in leadership, organizational culture, change management, and managing people. ~
