Atleast 3 years of experience in the DevOps/Platform Engineering Role ~ SiteRecon is a B2B SaaS platform transforming property measurements for landscapers and snow removal contractors in the $176B US market. Using advanced AI on high-resolution aerial imagery, we’ve reduced measurement time from 1 week to 1 day, aiming for 1 hour with upcoming AI advancements. We're looking for our Devops Engineer to build our infrastructure. This isn't about maintaining existing systems - it's about architecting the foundation that will scale from thousands to millions of property measurements. Every decision you make - from our CI/CD pipeline to our security architecture - will set the standard for how we build and ship software. When you improve deployment time by 50%, everyone feels it Full Ownership : Own the entire platform stack - from infrastructure to developer tools. No bureaucracy, no legacy systems, just building the right thing Define how we approach security, reliability, and developer experience. Foundation Building Architect our cloud platform on GCP from scratch, making crucial decisions on everything from network topology to data encryption strategies Design and implement our first proper CI/CD pipeline that takes us from 30-minute deployments to sub-5 minute deployments Build our infrastructure-as-code foundation using Terraform, establishing patterns that will be used for years Lead our SOC2 compliance journey by building security into every layer of our infrastructure Implement customer-managed encryption and zero-trust networking as foundational principles, not afterthoughts Build the self-service platform that lets developers provision infrastructure in minutes, not days Design observability systems that give developers superpowers in production Want to be "the DevOps person" everyone comes to, not just another engineer on the team Sub-5 minute deployments with automatic rollbacks ~99.9% uptime with comprehensive monitoring ~ Full SOC2 compliance with automated controls ~ Self-service platform used by every engineer daily ~Deep expertise with Cloud services and architecture Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and container orchestration Proficiency in Go or Python for automation Track record of building platforms that scale Every system you build becomes the foundation for our next phase of growth.
