About Ek Line: Ek Line.io is an AI-powered platform designed to accelerate the creation and maintenance of high-quality product, user, and API documentation. We help PMs and Engineers craft better first drafts, provide tools for technical writers to monitor and streamline their workflows, and optimize the entire documentation lifecycle. Role Overview:
As the Founding AI/ML Engineer at Ek Line, you will shape the future of our platform by implementing AI agents, fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), and integrating machine learning (ML) capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a small but highly ambitious team, where your work will have a direct impact on the product, customers, and company trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and deployment of AI agents to enhance platform features and efficiency.
Fine-tune and optimize large language models (LLMs) to align with specific use cases and customer needs.
Design and implement ML algorithms to power innovative solutions for content quality scoring, style enforcement, and workflow automation.
Collaborate closely with founders to identify and prioritize AI-driven solutions.
Establish best practices and contribute to the long-term AI/ML roadmap for Ek Line.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4–5 years of experience in AI and ML development, with demonstrated expertise in deploying production-grade solutions.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
Experience with ML frameworks like Tensor Flow, Py Torch, or similar.
Hands-on experience fine-tuning and working with language models (e.g., GPT, BERT).
Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and its applications.
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Google Cloud tools for AI/ML deployment and scalability.
Familiarity with data pipeline development and data engineering.
