AWS Data Platform Engineer

About Position:We’re looking for an AWS Data Platform Engineer to help automate and scale our cloud-based analytics environment. You’ll work with our BI and Data Engineering teams to build secure, automated, and reusable AWS infrastructure that supports data pipelines, Redshift environments, and business intelligence integrations.- Role: AWS Data Platform Engineer- Location: All Persistent Location- Experience: 9+years- Job Type: Full Time EmploymentWhat You'll Do:- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data platform and analytics workloads.- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker, ECS, and ECR.- Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK) for Redshift, Lambda, and other AWS services.- Automate environment creation and resource clean-up across development and test environments.- Integrate AWS data services with BI tools (e.g., Power BI).- Ensure security, observability, and cost efficiency across cloud resources.Expertise You'll Bring:- 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience (ECS, ECR, Lambda, S3, IAM, Redshift).- Strong Terraform or CloudFormation/CDK experience.- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Code Pipeline, Jenkins).- Solid knowledge of Docker and container lifecycle management.- Scripting in Python or Bash for automation.- Strong experience working with data (Redshift Data Warehouse/Power BI Semantic Models)- AWS certification (Developer or DevOps Engineer).- Experience with Airflow, MWAA- Experience with BI API integrations (Power BI).Benefits:- Competitive salary and benefits package- Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies- Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards- Annual health check-ups- Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parentsValues-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment:Persistent Ltd. is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
