Broadband network gateway

ACL Digital are seeking a highly skilled NOC Engineer with a strong focus on IP/MPLS networks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in network operations, troubleshooting, and configuration, with a deep understanding of BNG, DHCP, PPPo E, Radius, and Qo S.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance and identify potential issues using network management tools.
Analyze network logs and alarms to proactively address problems.
Track network performance metrics and generate reports.
Incident Management: Respond to network incidents and service outages promptly.
Troubleshoot network issues, including BNG, DHCP, PPPo E, Radius, and Qo S related problems.
Implement corrective actions to restore network services.
Configuration Management: Configure and maintain network devices (routers, switches, BNG) to ensure optimal performance and security.
Implement network changes and upgrades, following change management procedures.
Verify configuration changes and perform regression testing.
Network Optimization: Analyze network traffic patterns to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
Implement network optimization techniques to improve performance and reduce latency.
Fine-tune network parameters to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and procedures.
Create and update documentation for new network services and changes.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong understanding of IP/MPLS network protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, OSI Layers)
Hands-on experience with BNG, DHCP, PPPo E, Radius, and Qo S protocols
Experience with network management tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix)
Proficiency in network troubleshooting and analysis techniques
Strong knowledge of network security best practices
Ability to work in a 24/7 shift-based environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
