We are looking for a seasoned DevOps & DR Technology Working Group Lead to establish, activate, and operate the DevOps & Disaster Recovery (DR) Working Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the adoption of standardized DevOps practices and implementing robust disaster recovery strategies across the organization. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on technical expertise, and strong cross-functional leadership to deliver scalable and reliable systems aligned with business goals.Responsibilities1. Activation of the Working Group:Develop the charter, goals, and operational framework for the DevOps & DR Working Group.Identify and onboard key members from multiple business units.Design and manage the initial roadmap for DevOps and DR initiatives.2. DevOps Leadership:Define and implement CI/CD pipeline standards across all business units.Promote automation tools and DevOps best practices for consistent software delivery.Standardize tools and workflows to streamline operations.3. Disaster Recovery Planning:Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) policies, strategies, and procedures.Define Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) for critical systems.Conduct regular DR drills and simulations to validate readiness and compliance.4. Collaboration and Alignment:Coordinate with other technology working groups (Cybersecurity, Development, etc.) to ensure alignment.Work with various business units to adapt DevOps and DR solutions to their unique requirements.Act as the liaison to the Technology Steering Committee (SteerCo) for updates and decisions.5. Management and Reporting:Monitor and guide the working group’s progress to ensure timely achievement of objectives.Skills & Technologies:CI/CD pipeline implementation and governanceContainerization & Orchestration: Docker, KubernetesInfrastructure as Code: Terraform, AnsibleCloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCPMonitoring & Logging Tools: Prometheus, GrafanaDisaster Recovery Strategy: DR drills, backup solutions, RTO/RPO planningHigh-availability systems and failover mechanismsCross-functional leadership and stakeholder collaborationAgile and Lean methodology familiarityExperience:6 to 10 years in DevOps, disaster recovery, or related fields3 to 5 years managing DevOps/DR teams or projectsExperience working with distributed teams or global operationsQualificationsBachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related fieldCertifications (Preferred):AWS/Azure/GCP DevOps CertificationLocation: Hyderabad, IndiaWork Week: Sunday to ThursdayInternational Travel: As neededInterested candidates can submit their updated resumes to:Email: Subject: DevOps & DR TWG LeadPlease include your Current CTC and Notice Period
