Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team, where you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimisation of web AltrumAI application. As a Full-Stack
Engineer, you will work across the entire technology stack, collaborating closely with back-end developers, UX/UI designers, AI/ML engineers, and project managers.
Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to integrate user-friendly and responsive interfaces, ensuring seamless user experiences.
Design and implement efficient server-side logic and database structures to support front-end functionalities.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs and other third-party services to enhance application capabilities.
Ensure the application’s performance, scalability, and security by adhering to best practices and implementing optimisation techniques on both the front and back end.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement in development processes by sharing expertise, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing solutions.
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire stack, providing quick and effective solutions to meet project timelines.
Work in an agile development environment, closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritise tasks and deliver features within tight deadlines.
Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and tools to constantly improve the development process and product quality.
Required Qualifications / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4-5 years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications.
Expertise in front-end languages and frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Vue.js or Angular).
Strong back-end development experience with server-side runtime such as Node.js.
Experience working with databases (SQL and NoSQL), such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
Proficiency in designing and building RESTful APIs, including integration of third-party services.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience with modern CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS preferred) and experience with cloud-based architecture and deployments.
Familiarity with containerisation tools like Docker, Kubernetes for deployment and scalability.
In-depth knowledge of web performance optimisation techniques and security best practices.
Desirable Skills / Experience:
Experience with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms (e.g., SASS, SCSS, LESS) and front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp, Esbuild).
Understanding of Agile development principles and experience with tools such as JIRA or Trello for managing project workflows.
Experience with GraphQL and other API design paradigms.
Familiarity with serverless architecture and microservices design patterns.
Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and responsive design best practices.
Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress, and automated testing strategies for both front-end and back-end.

This role is a completely remote role based in India, with flexible working hours based on project requirements and team collaboration needs.
