Position: WebApp/Streamlit Developer for Data Annotation

Type: Internship/Contract


About the Role:

We are looking for a WebApp/Streamlit Developer to create and maintain a web-based data annotation platform. In this role, you will design and implement interactive tools that enable users to efficiently label, categorize, and annotate data, ensuring high-quality inputs for machine learning models. You will work closely with data scientists, AI engineers, and healthcare domain experts to build a streamlined annotation workflow.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain a Streamlit-based web application for data annotation.
  • Create intuitive user interfaces to facilitate efficient annotation of various data types (e.g., text, images).
  • Implement features such as data import/export, annotation tools, user management, and progress tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand annotation requirements and implement them effectively.
  • Optimize the application for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Conduct user testing and incorporate feedback to continuously improve the application.
  • Ensure data privacy and security measures are in place to protect sensitive information.
  • Provide documentation and training for end-users and team members.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing web applications using Streamlit.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in web development.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of data formats (e.g., JSON, CSV) and handling large datasets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of machine learning workflows and data labeling needs is a plus.
  • Experience with data annotation tools or platforms (e.g., Labelbox, Prodigy, Doccano) is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of database management (SQL/NoSQL) and data integration.
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and design best practices.
  • Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms in web applications.
