Job Description:

We are looking for an expert WordPress Plugin Developer with extensive experience in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress plugins. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving plugins that enhance the functionality of WordPress sites, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom WordPress plugins from scratch to meet specific project requirements.
  • Modify and enhance existing plugins to improve functionality, performance, and user experience.
  • Ensure all plugins are fully compatible with the latest versions of WordPress, PHP, and web standards.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to integrate plugins seamlessly into WordPress themes and websites.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of plugins to ensure high-quality, bug-free performance.
  • Optimize plugins for speed, scalability, and security.
  • Provide ongoing support and updates for developed plugins, including bug fixes and feature enhancements.
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, security updates, and plugin development best practices.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Plugin Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, hooks, filters, and core functionalities.
  • Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.
  • Experience with popular WordPress plugins (e.g., WooCommerce, Yoast, Elementor) and plugin development frameworks.
  • Familiarity with API integrations, third-party services, and web services (REST, SOAP).
  • Strong understanding of WordPress security best practices and performance optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with WooCommerce plugin development and customization.
  • Familiarity with modern development tools like Git, Gulp, Webpack, etc.
  • Experience with WordPress Multisite and multilingual plugin development.
  • Knowledge of website performance tools (e.g., Lighthouse, GTMetrix).
