Director CSIT

Foster innovation in teaching, learning, and research in emerging areas of Computer Science and IT. Lead the development of new academic programs and research initiatives. Academic and Research Oversight : Promote high-quality research and secure funding through grants and industry collaboration. Support faculty in scholarly activities and professional development. Administrative and Operational Management : Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and policy implementation. Build partnerships with industry, government agencies, and academic institutions. Drive initiatives related to internships, placements, and alumni engagement. Oversee the implementation and management of IT infrastructure used in teaching and research. Ensure cybersecurity, data governance, and tech-enabled learning environments. D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security ~ Minimum of 10 years of academic or industry experience, with at least 5 in leadership roles. ~Proven track record of academic excellence, research, and/or innovation in CSIT. ~ Experience in managing interdisciplinary teams and large-scale projects. ~ Strong understanding of emerging technologies (AI, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data Science, etc.).
