JOB OBJECTIVE: Position: Sr. Manager/Associate Director - Product Management

What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Proven experience in Product Management, including strategic planning and execution.
✔️ Expertise in Generative AI and its application in solving real-world challenges.
✔️ A strong understanding of the Pharma/Life Sciences domain.
✔️ Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders.
Skill & Competencies–
- Excellent understanding Life Sciences practical knowledge of data available in Life Sciences including patient data
- Strong experience in define, leading, and communicating product strategy & roadmap in line with the business goals including data products
- Ensure rapid pace of moving from strategy to execution of product initiatives.
- Synthesize ideas on strategy, planning and execution to identify new market opportunities & create the next generation of products, building consensus and driving execution along the way.
- Work within a team of Product Managers, Engineers and UX Designers to drive agile execution of new product launches. Develop a strong understanding of stakeholders to drive decisions.
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies working with team members in India as well as in the US.
- Ensure ongoing product growth and expansion by gaining and exploiting market feedback from customers and prospects.
- Evaluate market share and drive competitive analysis across a suite of products.
- Contribute towards Business Development, working closely with client teams to design solutions and responses for RFPs and discussions.
- Manage relationships and contracts with vendor & customers stakeholders.
- Operate at the intersection of analytics, data and technology. Ability to conceptualize, design and productize data and analytics solutions.
- Continuously engage with customers to gather understanding of their domain , problems, and perspectives on solutions
- Able to quickly understand new subject areas from a business and analytical standpoint (working closely with the SMEs); synthesize, articulate, and drive a clear vision for a solution. Continuously iterate with our engineering teams to realize this vision.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required / technical undergraduate degree preferred, MBA or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 8-10+ years’ experience in product management, with a combined 12-14+ years industry experience including product development/technical role/product marketing in a software solutions oriented business.
Experience in a B2B SaaS or software company specifically in data/analytics products and/or omni-channel marketing.
Behavioral Competency:
Ability to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally and externally.
Strong understanding of user-centred design principles.
Proven track record for developing, managing and launching large-scale cloud-based software products.
Strong technical and data-analysis skills.
Exceptionally strong writing and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational, project and resource management skills.
Role doesn’t require deep engineering expertise, however problem-solving abilities with an engineering mindset is required
Thrive in high pressure, chaotic fast paced situations and should love creating products in this environment
Equally comfortable talking to senior executives as well as analysts, and excel at working with other talented product teams at Axtria to help them be even more successful
