Role: Software Development Engineer – II (SDE-2)Location: Gurugram (Onsite)Experience: 4–6 YearsNotice Period: 0–30 DaysRole Type: Individual ContributorWork Mode: Onsite (Mon–Fri)About the CompanyHiring for India’s leading retail tech company , powering 1200+ brands, an integrated omni retail suite transforming online, offline, and distribution businesses through innovation, scalability, and advanced technology.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer – II (PHP & JavaScript) to join our BT Tech team.You will work on high-performance systems (~5 million API jobs/day) and contribute to building scalable retail technology solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop applications using PHP 7+ (CakePHP / Laravel / Yii / Phalcon).Collaborate with product teams to convert requirements into technical solutions.Contribute to system architecture & design for scalable, robust modules.Write clean, optimized, and maintainable code.Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.Work closely with QA to define and execute testing strategies.Support scaling of backend infrastructure.Work within Agile processes — daily standups, sprint planning & retrospectives.Essential Requirements4+ years experience in PHP 7+ (any one framework: CakePHP, Laravel, Yii, Phalcon).2+ years experience in MySQL .Strong experience in Angular.js / React.js / Vue.js .Hands-on with HTML5 & CSS3 .Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/BCA/MCA.Good to HaveExperience with Git/Jenkins or any CI/CD tools .Knowledge of AWS/Azure .Experience with Redis .Knowledge of Python or Node.js .Experience with NoSQL / Elasticsearch .Additional DetailsLocation: Gurugram (Onsite)Work Days: Monday to FridayRole Type: Individual ContributorNotice Period: Immediate to 30 days
