Role Title : Equity Research AnalystLocation : AhmedabadQualification : MBA from a reputed instituteExperience : 4 – 7 years of relevant experience in the power industry or on the sell-sideRoles & Responsibilities :- Conduct channel checks and collect insights from the market on what is happening on ground with respect to companies in the sector.- Translate qualitative insights into quantitative data, incorporating the findings into financial models to assess potential impacts on company margins and valuations.- Work closely with the Lead Analyst/ Head of Research to support new stock initiations and contribute to the generation of fresh stock ideas; research is published exclusively for institutional investors.- Create, maintain, and update data in financial models, along with tables and graphs that clearly illustrate the information- Develop databases integral to our research product.- Demonstrate strong industry knowledge and business judgment.- Work with other Analysts/ Head of Research to develop key industry themes.- Build relationships and facilitate information flow with contacts at covered companies.- Participate and contribute to client meetings and events.
