Community Manager
Job Title: Community Manager
Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-Time
Work days- 5 days (Sunday working)
(Working Time: Minimum 8 Hours a day)
Budget: Up to 45000 INR/month
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Community Building and Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to build, grow and engage our online course community. Plan and organise virtual events, activities, and initiatives to foster a sense of belonging and encourage participation.
- Member Support and Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for community members, providing timely responses to inquiries and feedback. Maintain open and constructive communication within the community.
- Content Sharing: Curate (Content Team will help with content creation) and share relevant content that aligns with the community’s interests and objectives. This includes creating articles, blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and other engaging content.
- Moderation and Enforcement: Oversee discussions and ensure that shared content aligns with the community’s values and standards. Address conflicts or disputes diplomatically and remove inappropriate or spam content.
- Feedback Collection and Analysis: Actively gather feedback from community members to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points. Use this feedback to improve the community experience.
- Advocacy and Brand Promotion: Encourage active engagement and promote our courses and initiatives within the community. Turn community members into advocates for our brand.
- Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address issues that may disrupt the community’s harmony or reputation.
- Community Growth Strategies: Contribute to the growth and sustainability of the community by developing and executing strategies to attract new members and expand the community’s reach.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Community Manager or similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good English is a must.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with online community platforms and tools.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for online education and community building.
- Knowledge of social media management and content creation/editing.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Sales or client-facing background
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the education or e-learning industry.
- A mix of domestic and international experience, preferably UK/Middle East
