About Us:Tara Capital Partners is an established multi strategy hedge fund based in India, focused on delivering sustainable alpha across fundamental and quantitative strategies in emerging markets. Our goal is to incorporate modern tools and global best practices in our research and development process in an attempt to create a set of strategies that manage capital across markets and segments.Responsibilities (include, but not limited to the following):Developing relationships using Quant techniques and modelsAnalyze data sets to identify a new set of alphas and provide analytics of existing tradesResearch and apply concepts from academic journals and financial literature and translate into fully automated trading strategies using a range of historical data, price, and volume inputsBuild models and deploy high-frequency/mid-frequency or low - frequency trading strategies on different asset classesResearching portfolio construction and risk allocation techniques - Back-testing ideas using historical TBT dataEvaluating strategy performance, making improvements, and scaling up successful strategiesRequirements:A STEM degree from a Tier I technical academic institutionA strong background in data structures, algorithms, and problem solvingPrior experience in Quantitative research or strategy development in the algorithmic set up (desirable)Quantitative aptitude and research oriented mindsetStrong work ethic, self-motivated and hard workingBenefitsCompetitive & transparent compensation structureRobust and efficient trading infrastructure for development of multi frequency Trading strategies (low, medium and high frequency trading)Access to multiple markets and asset classes across the globeNimble and a flat structured hierarchy that cuts buearocracyExposure to cutting edge research in quantitative finance, statistics and portfolio managementFriendly work culture with added focus on career development of an individual
