Role: Senior Technology and Research Engineer

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team, dedicated to enabling and supporting the deployment of applications as Cloud-Native Functions (CNF). The ideal candidate will help bridge the gap between applications development and cloud-native deployment, ensuring that products are operationally ready, compliant, and efficiently deployable in modern containerized environments.

Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to support the transition of applications to CNF-compliant deployments.
Analyze deployment requirements and identify gaps or incompatibilities with target environments, including operating system-level dependencies.
Develop and maintain automation scripts, templates, and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and operational processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to container orchestration, networking, storage, security, and operating system integration in CNF environments.
Support the creation and maintenance of system images and templates for consistent, repeatable deployments.
Document deployment processes, best practices, and operational guidelines for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide technical support to unblock engineering, QA, and field teams during deployment and operational phases.
Participate in gap analysis and enablement activities to ensure compliance with customer and platform requirements. • Share knowledge and mentor team members on CNF deployment practices, operational excellence, and OS-level troubleshooting.

Strong experience with containerization and orchestration platforms.
Solid understanding of cloud-native deployment principles and operational challenges.
Proficiency in scripting and automation for deployment and configuration tasks.
Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems (e.g., Experience investigating and resolving OS-level issues such as service failures, directory or filesystem corruption, and system resource bottlenecks.
Familiarity with networking, storage, and security concepts relevant to CNF deployments.
Experience supporting engineering and field teams in high-priority, time sensitive situations.

Prior experience in telecom, large-scale enterprise, or regulated environments.
Exposure to compliance-driven deployment and operational processes.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving requirements and technologies.
Work Experience: 12-15 years

B.Tech., Tech. or M. Sc. in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / MCA
