Our client is a provider of financial and technical assistance to individual countries around the globe. The bank considers itself a unique financial institution that sets up partnerships to reduce poverty and support economic development.Team specific information:The objective of this project is to enhance the reporting capabilities for Client's business areas, currently provided by the STAR system. The work would involve data modeling and building data visualizations using Power BI technology. The project will be delivered using Agile methodology.Responsibilities:Loan Data Repository (LDR) is a new Azure Cloud based loan system's data warehousing platform and will serve as a single gold copy of loans data bank wide. The primary objective of this job requirement is to engage as a reporting developer with LDR project technical development team for developing multiple Paginated Reports and dashboards by using Power BI Report Builder and Power BI Desktop applications.The desired candidate will fill in the position of a Power BI reports developer for Loans Data Repository project. This position's primary responsibility will be to develop Paginated Reports and Dashboards based on business rules and to migrate existing report logic from SAP Business Objects to Power BI Reports.Mandatory Skills:• 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing Paginated Reports, Common Data Model (CMD) and Dashboards by using Power BI Report Builder and Power BI Desktop applications• Previous experience in financial sector (Bank or FinTech)• Developmental experience in the advanced knowledge of Power BI to develop complex analytics.• Hands-on experience in Power BI Services• Strong knowledge of SQL to analyze data and asses the generated SQL query scripts from SAP Business Objects reports.• Demonstrate a good command of data modeling concepts and methodologies (Kimball) used in a data warehousing environment.• Proven ability to serve as a senior developer responsible for designing and delivering solutions that meets complex business needs.• Ability to work with Business and Subject matter experts and independently deliver the deliverables.• Experience in SQL analysis and query optimization.• Experience with Job Scheduling• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Very good interpersonal communication and written skills, with the ability to work in challenging environmentNice-to-Have Skills:• Power BI Certification• Experience in developing reports/dashboards using SAP Business Objects and/or other BI/Visualization tools such as Tableau.• Familiarity in administration activities in the Power BI services• Familiarity in Azure Cloud environmentLanguages:English: C1 Advanced
