Celsior Technologies Pvt. QA Engineer (Selenium/Playwright Automation)

Working Model: Hybrid (3 days work from office)

Celsior Technologies is seeking an experienced and dedicated Sr. QA Engineer to join our team. We're looking for a professional with a strong background in both automation (Selenium or Playwright) and manual testing. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual contributor with over 7 years of quality assurance experience, possessing expertise in in-sprint automation, strong API knowledge, and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.

Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and test scripts using Selenium with Java or Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript .

Sprint Automation: Collaborate with development teams to identify and deliver in-sprint automation tasks within sprint timelines.

API Testing: Database Testing: Work with MongoDB to validate database integrations, queries, and operations as part of end-to-end testing.

Analyze project requirements, create detailed test plans and test cases, and ensure thorough test coverage for all features.

Function as a key individual contributor, while effectively collaborating with Agile teams, including developers and product owners, to achieve a shared vision of quality.

Agile Methodologies: Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills and Experience

~7+ years of experience in software QA, with a proven track record in Selenium/Playwright automation using Java , JavaScript , or TypeScript .

~ Proficiency in Java/TypeScript for developing and maintaining automation frameworks.

~ Knowledge of AI Prompting is considered a valuable advantage.

~ Strong understanding of both UI and API testing methodologies and tools.

~ Hands-on experience with MongoDB for database validation.

~ In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and practical experience in an Agile environment.

~ Skilled in identifying and automating test cases for in-sprint tickets.

~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education Graduate or equivalent
