Hiring Announcement: EHS Engineers – Jamnagar Project
L&T Construction – Buildings & Factories IC is inviting applications from qualified professionals for the position of EHS Engineer at our prestigious Jamnagar Project .
The Engineer – EHS – Site is responsible for supporting the implementation of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems at the project site. The role ensures day-to-day monitoring of safety practices, compliance with standard operating procedures, and proactive identification of hazards. The incumbent supports site safety audits, training programs, contractor supervision, incident reporting, and environmental management activities to ensure a safe, compliant, and sustainable work environment.
- Daily Site Safety Monitoring: Conduct routine inspections across work zones to identify hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
- Compliance Support: Ensure adherence to all statutory, regulatory, and internal safety requirements, and maintain necessary EHS documentation.
- Contractor Safety Oversight: Monitor and guide contractor teams for proper PPE usage, safe work methods, and adherence to permit-to-work systems.
- Incident Reporting: Support timely reporting and investigation of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions. Maintain incident logs and support root cause analysis
- Toolbox Talks and Awareness: Organize and conduct toolbox talks, site inductions, and daily safety briefings in coordination with site execution teams.
Qualifications (Mandatory) :
- B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) / Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institute
- Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized university
- The examination for the above qualifications must have been conducted by the Technical Examination Board (TEB) of the respective state or an approved university
- Note: Candidates not meeting this requirement will not be shortlisted
Experience Required :
- B.E. / B.Tech. graduates : Minimum 5–8 years of experience in managing HSE activities in the construction industry
- B.Sc. / Diploma holders : Minimum 8–11 years of experience in managing HSE activities in the construction industry
Walk‑in / Virtual Walk‑in Interviews :
- Schedule : Planned during this week, on or before 23rd September 2025
- Mode : Candidates may be invited for either an in‑person walk‑in or a virtual walk‑in interview
- Notice Period : Shortlisted candidates will be informed and must be available to attend interviews at 24 hours’ notice
