Our systems are already deployed in customer’s commercial network and engineers are working on to enhance the capacity and improve system level performance. Tejas Networks has invested in Wireless product development since 2012 with a vision to create globally deployable telecom RAN solutions. Several of the key components developed by the Wireless R&D team have been installed and commissioned across three continents. We are an active partner for 5G in the Indian Ecosystem and have significantly contributed to India’s standardization efforts in 3GPP, through TSDSI for 6G. The wireless team has over 100+ patents. As part of the wireless team, you will work on developing products for next generation wireless systems. What you work: On Physical layer Framework or Controller to support MU-MIMO and massive-MIMO. As an Engineer, you will be responsible to contribute in product development and delivery including planning, requirement analysis, design, implementation, validation, verification and field testing. Analyze and prioritize various features for different sub-systems to get a synchronized system delivery in a phased manner Closely work with other teams and partners to carry out system integration and user acceptance testing Focus to continuously improve system performance with quality deliverables. Design and Implement the System from Hardware, Software, Inter Layers Communication perspective and Performance Perspective. Drive the Architecture into realization, Validate and Take decisions on Hardware / Software Choices for Multi-Core / Multi-Processor, Processing splits, Performance, Latency Scalability aspects, Find the Alternate approaches for critical Customer or Field Issues. Contribute to sustenance of the software by means of handling queries, Root Cause Analysis for field issues, defect analysis, debug & develop the solutions for customer issues. Provide technical guidance and own troubleshooting tasks related to system level issues. Collaborate with multi-functional teams like Quality Assurance, Customer Support, System Integration/Engineering for the end-to-end product development. Develop specialized knowledge of the existing 4G and/or 5G Baseband Software architecture. Mandatory skills: Candidate should possess hands on experience on Layer-1, algorithm design, implementation and optimization on DSP, ARM, Power-PC or PA cores Good Programming skills in C, C++, MATLAB, assembly language and code optimization techniques. Experience with multithreading concepts, socket programming for efficient communication, and interprocess communication (IPC) mechanisms in Linux for seamless collaboration between processes and components. Familiarity with embedded systems using ARM and x86 architectures like MCU, MPU, Cache, DMA, RTOS like FreeRTOS. Strong expertise in Linux, Fast path (DPDK/ODP) is highly desirable Strong expertise in C++/C/Assembly, Real-time OS and embedded programming concepts: SW task scheduler, Multi-threaded system, Memory management. Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Docker). Working Knowledge on Test equipment’s like UE Simulator, VSA / VSG, Logic Analyzer and Network Analyzer, from VIAVI/Keysight. Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to adapt and learn new technologies and concepts quickly. Solid Experience in Programming, optimization, debugging, profiling techniques utilizing the features of HW architecture. Proven experience in Test automation of product quality system software. Hands on experience of test code development and automation for firmware or system software. Python and Bash scripts skills are required. System validation experience of Linux embedded platforms Verification and Validation of embedded software release candidates and releases. Good understanding of computer architecture, micro architecture concepts – ideally for the Arm architecture. Desired skills: Familiar with any of these technologies OFDM, massive-MIMO, MU-MIMO, Beam Management, Physical channels, CPRI/eCPRI interface. Should have work experience in eNodeB/gNodeB/UE L1 SW development for framework or Controller Module. Familiar with any RAN Platform architecture, L1 Schedulers Good debugging skills, log analysis and solving Field issues. Preferred Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience.
