Company Overview: Viionn Labs is a dynamic technology consulting firm delivering custom software solutions to global clients. We are currently hiring for a contract-to-hire role on behalf of a reputed enterprise based in Indore. The selected candidates will operate in a hybrid onsite model, with 2 days per week at the client site in Indore and the remaining days from Viionn Labs' development center.
Must-Have Expertise: In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as BDD, TDD, and Data-Driven testing.
Proficient in test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.
Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman, Soap UI, Rest Assured, and Rest Easy.
Solid understanding of performance testing tools like JMeter and Load Runner, along with security testing practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab, and Azure Dev Ops.
Proficient with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA and Test Rail.
Strong OS (Windows/Linux) concepts and DBMS knowledge, with the ability to write optimized SQL queries.
Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development.
Good-to-Have Expertise: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of Big Data technologies and cloud-based architectures.
Experience with document-based databases (e.g., Mongo DB).
Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools.
Roles & Responsibilities: As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will lead the quality assurance efforts for a specific module or product, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the development team to understand module requirements, design, and functionality, and create a comprehensive testing strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
Test Strategy Development: Design, implement, and execute detailed test plans and cases to assess functionality, performance, and security. Perform both manual and automated testing, leveraging automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.
Quality Assurance Leadership: Guide and mentor junior quality engineers, helping them improve their skills and develop proficiency in quality assurance best practices. Provide feedback, identify improvement areas, and ensure team members are aligned with quality objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between developers, product managers, and other QA teams to ensure modules meet functional and non-functional requirements. Advocate for quality-driven development and promote best practices in the software lifecycle.
Defect Management: Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with development teams for prompt resolution. Ensure all defects are logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, testing methodologies, and industry standards. Incorporate innovative testing tools, techniques, and frameworks to enhance the testing process.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
