Role: Qt C++ Developer
Location : Healthcare Technology Innovation Centre, IIT Madras Research Park
Experience : 2+ Years in Development of Software Solutions (C++)

What You’ll Do
Develop Applications : Design and implement GUI-based software using Qt C++ for medical imaging and navigation systems.
Apply Object-Oriented Principles : Build modular, maintainable, and high-performance software.
Integrate Toolkits : Utilize ITK, VTK, and Open GL for medical image processing, 3 D visualization, and rendering.
Manage Databases : Design, implement, and maintain database systems like SQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Optimize Performance : Ensure software efficiency and reliability for real-time applications.
Collaborate : Work with interdisciplinary teams, including computer vision, robotics, and clinical experts.
Test & Validate : Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to maintain software quality.
Document : Produce comprehensive technical documentation for software architecture, workflows, and user guides.
What We’re Looking For
Educational Background : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience : 2+ years of hands-on experience in Qt application development.
Programming Skills : Proficiency in C++ with expertise in Qt, and experience with ITK, VTK, and Open GL.
Graphics Rendering Knowledge : Strong understanding of Open GL for 3 D rendering and visualization.
OOP Principles : Strong understanding and application of object-oriented design patterns.
Medical Imaging Knowledge : Experience in basic image processing, 3 D visualization & DICOM standards.
Problem-Solving Skills : Analytical mindset and ability to tackle complex software challenges.
Team Player : Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with the Image Guided Surgical Navigation domain.
Experience with multi-threaded applications or real-time systems.
Understanding of 3 D geometry, transformations, and rendering techniques.
