Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Civil Engineer in the Cement industry at SPC INFRA PROJECTS. The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for civil engineering design, planning, stormwater management, and overseeing various civil engineering projects. This role will be based in Surat, with flexibility for some remote work.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with significant experience in the cement industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000).
  • Familiarity with local and international building codes and standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing large-scale cement industry projects.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of civil engineering projects.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and design specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance.
  • Prepare and review engineering documents, drawings, and reports.
  • Coordinate with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets and control costs.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers and staff.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
