Learn more: About the Role As an Academic Counsellor, you will play a key role in guiding potential learners, helping them identify the right career path, and showcasing how up Grad’s programs can accelerate their journey. Key Responsibilities • Engage with potential learners through calls, video sessions, and in-centre meetings to understand their career goals and recommend suitable programs. • Drive weekly & monthly enrollment and revenue targets by effectively converting leads into admissions. • Manage the complete sales lifecycle from first interaction to enrollment and post-sales support. • Track and improve key performance metrics such as counselling sessions, conversion rates, and revenue. • Maintain accurate learner records on CRM and share feedback with the Marketing team to improve lead quality. • Work closely with centre teams to ensure a smooth learner journey and high satisfaction levels. Skills & Experience • Graduate with 2–5 years of experience in consultative or B2 C sales (education industry exposure preferred). • Strong communication, persuasion and relationship-building skills. • Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure. • Empathetic listener with ability to build trust and focus on learner success. • Comfortable with CRM tools and basic MS Office proficiency.
