Job Title: Django Developer Location: Ahmedabad, India Job Type : Full-time Company Overview: Helmsman Consultancy is a dynamic and innovative design-driven technology company based in Ahmedabad, specializing in the development of cutting-edge mobile and web applications. We are a unilateral solution for the various steps involved in taking a rough idea and shaping it into a market-wide launch. Responsibilities: Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend components using the Django framework. Create and implement scalable and efficient APIs to support mobile applications. Mobile App Integration: Collaborate with mobile app developers to integrate backend functionality seamlessly. Ensure the smooth flow of data between mobile apps and the Django backend. Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas for mobile applications. Implement data migration and ensure data integrity. Security and Performance: Implement security best practices to protect user data and system integrity. Optimize backend performance to ensure a seamless user experience. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers. Collaborate with project managers to meet project milestones and deliver high-quality products. Code Review: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adhere to coding standards. Provide constructive feedback to peers and contribute to continuous improvement. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for backend systems. Document APIs and system architecture for future reference. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a Django Developer with a focus on mobile app integration. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. Experience with database design, optimization, and management (e.g., Postgre SQL). Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Familiarity with front-end technologies and mobile app development frameworks is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
