This role is for a substantial, fast-growing and well respected UK Secure Digital communication service provider firm who has hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a permanent Work From Home position and everyday you’ll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunities to learn and develop.

They are looking to make a full time hire for a long term position.
Location: Permanent Remote Work from Home in India
Experience: 5+ years
Shift Timings: 12pm - 9:30pm (Summer), 1pm - 10:30pm (Winter)
Roles and responsibilities
Application Development: Design, build, and maintain high-quality Swift applications for i OS.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and back-end developers to implement new features, improve user experience, and ensure seamless integration.
Code Quality and Optimization: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code; focus on improving performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.
Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve issues related to performance, memory usage, and crashes.
Testing and QA: Develop unit tests, perform code reviews, and work with QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Stay Updated on Best Practices: Keep up with industry trends, new technologies, and Apple’s i OS/mac OS updates to implement relevant advancements in the app.
Required Skills and Experience
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in Swift
Familiarity with Apple Frameworks and APIs:
Core Data
UIKit, Swift UI
Concurrency (GCD, Operation and Operation Queue, Async/Await, Combine),
Keychain Service
Core Animation
Xcode: Skilled in using Xcode IDE, Instruments for performance profiling, and interface builder tools.
Knowledge of APIs and Networking: Experience with RESTful APIs, Graph QL APIs, JSON parsing, JWT/JWS, networking frameworks like URLSession, Websockets.
Data Handling:
Apple File Manager framework
SQLite/SQLCipher
App Architecture: Familiarity with MVVM, MVC, or other architectural patterns commonly used in i OS development.
Testing: Experience with XCTest and other testing frameworks for creating unit and UI tests.
Version Control: Proficient in Git for version control.
Desired Experience and Skills:
Experience with Objective-C: Understanding of Objective-C is a plus, especially for maintaining or migrating legacy codebases.
Animation and Graphics Knowledge: Experience with Core Graphics, Core Animation.
CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools like Bitrise.
App Store Deployment: Knowledge of app store submission processes, code signing, and provisioning profiles.
Security: Knowledges of the most common symmetric/asymmetric encryption algorithms and hashing algorithms. Apple Encryption Framework, API access/identity authentication/authorization frameworks (OAuth2, OICD). TLS
