Key Responsibilities- Technology Leadership & Architecture- Define the technical architecture for the AI product and supporting systems.- Make key decisions on tech stack, cloud infrastructure, security, scalability, and integration patterns.- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, and Dev Ops.- Hands-on Development- Develop core backend/frontend modules of the product.- Build and integrate AI/ML components with APIs, data pipelines, and production workflows.- Perform code reviews, implement quality standards, and ensure robust documentation.- AI & Data Engineering- Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists (internal or external partners).- Implement model integrations, vector databases, embedding pipelines, and agent workflows.- Oversee data ingestion, data cleaning, data governance, and storage infrastructure.Required Skills & Experience- 7–10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2–3 years in a technical leadership role.- Strong expertise in backend development (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar).- Experience with AI/ML technologies:- LLMs, embeddings, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma)- Model integration (Open AI, Anthropic, Llama, etc.)- Prompt engineering and agent frameworks- Experience in frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) is a plus.- Solid cloud experience with AWS / Azure.- Strong understanding of Dev Ops pipelines, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD.- Experience building scalable Saa S products.- Ability to work independently in an environment without an existing IT structure.- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and ownership mindset.
