Senior Embedded Hardware Design Engineer  Company: MRM Procom Pvt. Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent  Experience: 5+ years in embedded hardware design  MRM Procom designs and manufactures intelligent devices for protection, control, and measurement of electrical systems in Power Generation & Distribution —including advanced meters, diesel generator controllers, and protection relays. With 16+ years in the industry and 10+ lakh devices deployed, we’re trusted by leading public and private sector companies such as Jio, Airtel, Eicher, Mahindra & Mahindra, NDPL, BSES, Havells, C&S, Delta Electronics , and others.  We’re seeking a Senior Embedded Hardware Design Engineer to lead the design of next-generation control and measurement electronics—from concept and architecture to validation and production. You’ll work closely with firmware, validation, manufacturing, and QA teams to deliver robust, field-ready products.  Architect, design, and review analog, digital, and power-supply circuits for embedded systems.  Own schematic capture and PCB layout (review/guide layout engineers); Component selection, validation, and lifecycle management (alternates, obsolescence planning, supply risk).  Debug and root-cause analysis for proto/field issues; Ensure compliance to electrical, safety, and EMC/EMI requirements; coordinate pre-compliance and certification testing.  Required Skills & Experience   ~5+ years hands-on embedded hardware design and testing.  ~ Strong mixed-signal design fundamentals (sensor front-ends, filters, op-amps, ADC/DAC interfacing).  ~ Proficiency with schematic & PCB tools (Altium/KiCad/Eagle) and version/BOM control.  ~ Practical experience with EMC/EMI & surge/ESD/EFT mitigation (TVS, snubbers, common-mode chokes, grounding, creepage/clearance).  ~ Confidence with lab equipment: oscilloscope, DMM, PSU, electronic load, logic analyzer , etc.  ~ Working knowledge of Embedded C to collaborate with firmware (bootloaders, drivers, bring-up).  ~ Domain experience in power/energy , genset controllers, protection relays, or industrial/telecom automation.  CT/PT interfacing , shunts, isolation amps, precision references, calibration.  Experience taking designs through pre-compliance for IEC 61000-4-2/-4/-5, surge and ESD protection strategies.  End-to-end exposure: in-house R&D + manufacturing —fast feedback loops and real-world impact.  Collaborative team with ownership, autonomy, and growth opportunities.
