Job Description OpenTrain partners with leading AI companies to build safer, smarter systems. We hire engineers and technical writers to evaluate and improve AI-generated content. We’re seeking Automotive Engineering QA / AI Trainers to audit model responses, verify engineering rigor, and author gold-standard prompts/solutions that strengthen AI reasoning. Review and rate prompts and model answers across vehicle dynamics , powertrain/electrification , control systems , embedded/ECU/CAN , electronics , ADAS/functional safety , and manufacturing/quality . Verify equations, units, assumptions, and design rationale; Draft improved prompts, solutions, and concise written feedback using detailed QA rubrics (SFT/RLHF/evaluation). Run quick validation/analysis in Python (e.g., basic scientific stack helpful). 3+ years in Automotive Engineering or a closely related field (vehicle systems, powertrain, controls, electronics, etc.). ~ Bachelor’s in Engineering required; Master’s/PhD preferred . ~ Practical Python for analysis/validation (scripts or notebooks). ~ Clear, concise technical writing in English; meticulous about notation and units. ~ Comfortable following detailed QA rubrics and switching topics quickly. ~ Reliable computer/internet; able to pass an AI interview and QA calibration. ~ Individual contractors and qualified agencies are welcome. Contract & Schedule Type: Contract (independent contractor), remote. minimum 15 hours/week (flexible). Compensation: USD $6–$55/hour (target $40/hour ).
