As a part of the Business Development Team at Tiger Analytics, you will play a fundmental role in achieving our client acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The role will involve taking calls / meetings with senior client executives at Director, VP, CXO levels (for Data/ML Engineering, BI) with our prospects/clients, making high-impact presentations.

The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a challenging and entrepreneurial environment, with a significant responsibility and an exciting career path. This person will report directly to the Leadership for Business Development. Base Location would be ideally Chennai, Bengaluru, or Hyderabad though we are open to Mumbai, Pune, Trivandrum, Delhi-NCR or remote too.



Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years in client-facing/pre-sales/consulting roles, of which 4+ years in direct consulting or business development roles, working in Data/Analytics/AI/ML Engineering/ Cloud/IT services/related consulting services & solutions, industries
  • Expertise in consulting/architecture/solution-design in the following areas: Data Architecture/Strategy/Roadmap Building, Data Engineering, Data Management, ML Engineering
  • Significant experience working in or with the US market
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • A “consultative mindset” – being able to understand pain-points of the client and craft very customised solutions
  • Business Consulting Skills
  • Excellent relationship-building and management skills
  • High levels of “discussion-stamina”, to be able to talk to multiple prospects as well as multiple internal stakeholders to make wins happen
  • Superlative commitment, flexibility and motivation to stay focused and win clients
  • Ability to build winning stories and proposals
  • Should be able to learn and deliver results quickly, including sales and pipeline targets
  • Assist the BD/Sales/Client Partner teams in leading proactive conversations as the Data Engineering representative
  • Presenting Tigerʼs Data Engineering capabilities and proposals. Work with customers to breakdown the business demand into addressable and defined problems that architects can solution
  • Optimize need for Architect bandwidth by creating simple solutions and handling initial scoping conversations independently
  • Responsible for maintaining and building Point of View and proposal assets at an Account, Domain, Solution or Service Line level
  • Maintain the repository of recent client presentations, RFI / RFP responses and marketing collateral
  • Establish and maintain clear and transparent communication with stakeholders building productive relationships; adhering to agreed timelines for deliverables and driving collaboration across various teams to drive success
  • Good to have:
  • MBA from a reputed institute
  • Experience across lead lifecycle and lead management strategies
  • Experience in developing and closing major wins
  • Preferable hands-on consulting skills (at least should be able to do workshops in the Business Development phase) in the domains mentioned above
