We are seeking a Senior Automation & Instrumentation Design Engineer with extensive experience in electrical design, PLC system integration, and instrumentation layout for process plants. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in AutoCAD Electrical , EPLAN , and engineering design in compliance with international standards. This role demands strong design and documentation capabilities with a clear understanding of bioprocess, pharma, or industrial automation environments.

Prepare detailed electrical panel design, loop diagrams, wiring layouts, and I/O schedules using AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN.
Develop and review control panel GA drawings, power & control wiring diagrams, and cable schedules.
Design and document instrumentation layouts, JB layouts, and hook-up drawings.
Interface with PLC programming and SCADA teams to define I/O mapping and signal integration.
Select field instrumentation such as pressure, flow, level, and temperature sensors as per process requirements.
Ensure compliance with international standards in electrical and instrumentation design.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, and project teams for control architecture finalization.
Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, and site troubleshooting for automation and instrumentation systems.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN for electrical design.
Familiar with PLC/SCADA hardware I/O interfacing , panel design, and cable routing.
Experience with electrical and control documentation for GMP-compliant projects.
Understanding of international electrical codes (IEC 60204, UL 508, etc.).
Hands-on experience in selecting industrial sensors , actuators, and control devices.
Experience:
~1-2 years of experience in automation & instrumentation design in process industries.
~ Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN; experience in Smart Plant or similar tools is a plus.

 
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics.

 
Project Handling: Manage electrical and instrumentation design scope in turnkey projects.
Prepare detailed as-built drawings and design dossiers.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and commissioning teams.
Troubleshoot design and implementation issues during project execution.
