Role: Cloud Automation Engineer

Experience- 3-5ys

Location- Gurugram

Primary Skill – Azure or AWS with Terraform mandatory

Secondary Skill - Terraform

Role Description

Technical Skills:

  • Participate in managing day-to-day operations of cloud infrastructure environments, including performance management, monitoring, and assessment of metrics. Handson for Deployments, Templates, Networking, Config, upgrades, App Gateway services, API, CI/CD Pipelines, express route configuration & subscription management.
  • Work with business units on new deployments, issues, and improvements to existing services: assist development teams with integrations and identity enablement for SaaS or custom products; deploy IaaS and PaaS infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP using Terraform, Ansible, or another Infrastructure-as-Code tooling.
  • Employ and enforce system/solution development processes, agile methodologies, DevOps principles and practices, and quality engineering best practices. Experience with containers, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to System Admin skills – Linux, Windows Administration, Storage, Backup, and Recovery services using SaaS-based tools.
  • Uphold access control, data integrity, Azure key vault, and file system security for the computer/data center environment. Experience with identity solutions such as AzureAD.
  • Expertise in Windows administration and operating systems, with hands-on experience in deployment and maintenance.
  • Utilize infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform to manage and provision cloud resources on Azure and AWS.
  • Implement and maintain automation tools to support efficient and reliable deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify and prioritize areas for automation.
  • Stay current with new technology and automation trends, continuously improving and updating the automation framework.
  • Debug and troubleshoot automation issues, identify root cause, and implement solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior automation engineers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and Solve IT infrastructure issues working with Business, IT partners and various IT teams.
  • Maintain deep hands-on technical expertise to assist technical teams in resolving issues in production environments in high pressure situations. This includes all aspects of implementation including configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in IT- Infrastructure Projects. Infrastructure domain knowledge is essential

  • Must have good time management skills and be able to meet rigid and urgent assignment schedules.

Qualification:

  • 5 Years relevant experience in respective field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field with certifications in Azure, Terraform.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Windows administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Azure and AWS.
  • Good knowledge of API integration & API orchestration.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration & documentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
