Microsoft Certified Database Administrator

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Microsoft Database Administrator (MCDBA). The ideal candidate will have the latest Microsoft Certified DBA certification and relevant experience in managing enterprise-level MSSQL databases (2012 or above). This role will be responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our database systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server instances and database systems.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime.
- Implement and maintain database security measures, including user access controls, data encryption, and auditing.
- Plan and execute database backups and recovery strategies to safeguard against data loss and ensure business continuity.
- Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes, and views to support application requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries, stored procedures, and functions for improved performance.
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as index defragmentation, statistics updates, and database integrity checks.
- Stay updated on the latest database technologies and best practices, incorporating them into database management processes as appropriate.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and guidelines for reference and training purposes.
Requirements:
- Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) certification or equivalent.
- Proven experience in administering enterprise-level MSSQL databases (2012 or above).
- In-depth knowledge of database management concepts, principles, and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of database security principles and practices.
- Experience with database backup and recovery solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
