Hiring SAP BW BOBJ Hana consultant for our premium project.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies and plans for BI solutions.
  • Contribute to the ongoing support and enhancement of all delivered SAP BI solutions, partnering with support staff and other teams to deliver high-quality performance and business value.
  • Contribute to the development of the current BW landscape and architecture by modeling, designing, developing, testing, and implementing the appropriate backend and front-end structures needed to meet business reporting requirements.
  • Drive the full BI development process including ETL analysis and expansion, data warehouse modeling, and delivery of front-end reporting reports, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Understand and capture business requirements and translate them into flexible and powerful BI solutions.
  • Work with the Functional team on the gathering of business requirements.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain custom and pre-delivered extractors to perform data extractions, transformations, and application of business rules.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for BW and BOBJ systems.
  • Monitor process chains and address data load failures.
  • Support maintenance windows, system upgrades, or migrations whenever required.
  • Perform data load requests and support for finance month-end processes.
  • Develop SAP BW SAP HANA Native solutions through participation in small and large projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Data Modeling and Architecture : Design, develop, and implement data models and architectures using SAP BW and HANA. Create ADSO, Composite Providers, HANA Views.
  • ETL Processes : Manage ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) : Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using SAP SAC.
  • Report and Dashboard Development : Design, develop, and implement reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects tools such as Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Lumira.
  • System Integration : Integrate SAP BW with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
  • Data Integration : Ensure seamless integration of SAP Business Objects with other systems and data sources.
  • System Maintenance : Maintain and troubleshoot the SAP Business Objects platform, resolving technical issues and optimizing performance.
  • User Support : Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use the BI tools, SAP BW, HANA, and SAC functionalities.
  • Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed reports, dashboards, and system configurations.
  • Project Management : Lead and manage BI projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Project Collaboration : Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Performance Tuning : Optimize report performance and system efficiency through regular monitoring and adjustments.
  • Business Acumen : Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Team Collaboration : Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability : Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Business Objects development, with a strong background in data warehousing and business intelligence, HANA, and SAP SAC.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in SAP BW, SAP BOBJ tools, HANA, and SAP SAC. Experience with ABAP programming and SQL scripting is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certifications : SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP BOBJ certifications are preferred.
