### Job Description: Gm – Power Sales & Commercial Contracts*Position:* Sales & Contracts Manager – Solar B2B*Location:* tamil nadu, karnataka, maharashtra*Department:* Business Development / Sales & Commercial*Reports to:* Head – Sales & StrategyRole OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute professional to drive customer acquisition and contract execution for our solar power projects. The role involves identifying and engaging high-electricity consumers (residential societies, malls, tech parks, retail chains, and industries), negotiating Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), and ensuring smooth commercial closure and compliance. This individual will be the bridge between potential customers and our operations, ensuring both revenue growth and long-term client relationships.Key Responsibilities- Prospect and build a customer pipeline of large power consumers (500 kVA and above) across multiple segments like residential apartments, malls, tech parks, retail outlets, and industrial clusters.- Conduct market research and build intelligence on consumption patterns, energy needs, and competitor offerings.- Initiate conversations, present compelling solar energy business cases, and conduct ROI/benefit analysis presentations for decision-makers.- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from customer approach to deal closing.- Draft, negotiate, and finalize Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Sale of Power contracts, and related commercial documents in coordination with the legal and finance teams.- Ensure regulatory compliance of agreements with government policies, DISCOM regulations, and renewable energy norms.- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as the primary
