AGM/DGM - Total Productivity Management

One of the leading Auto Components companies in India is looking for a AGM/DGM for handling TPM across their manufacturing locations. This role can be based out of Pune or Aurangabad. It is a strategic leadership role, reporting directly to the Group CEO, and is responsible for the design, deployment, and governance of continuous improvement methodologies across all manufacturing plants. The primary objective is to foster a culture of continuous improvement and enhance operational efficiency Key Responsibilities TPM Strategy & Deployment: Develop and execute a long-term TPM roadmap across all plants, partnering with global teams to determine progression plans and projects for improvement. Loss Identification & Productivity Improvement: Lead extensive loss mapping exercises to identify systemic loss areas and implement focused improvement projects. Key metrics include improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reducing machine breakdowns, and enhancing throughput. Equipment Reliability & Maintenance Excellence: Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to establish world-class preventive and predictive maintenance systems, including reliability standards and condition monitoring tools. Process Standardization & Capability Building: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and comprehensive training modules for operators, technicians, and managers. Build internal trainers and pillar leaders to sustain the improvement culture. Safety, Quality, & Compliance: Integrate TPM practices with Safety (SHE), Quality Assurance (e.g., ISO/TS standards), and regulatory compliance programs to ensure a safe and high-quality production environment with zero defects and accidents. Data Management & Auditing: Act as the custodian of TPM data, ensuring accurate reporting and deployment metrics. Conduct regular assessments and audits to verify adherence to standards and continuous improvement practices like 5S and Kaizen activities. Leadership & Change Management: Drive cultural change, promote autonomous maintenance behaviors among operators, and lead cross-functional teams to champion continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Key Skills & Competencies Deep knowledge of the eight TPM pillars, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), to systematically identify and eliminate losses. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to influence and coach teams at all levels. Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive efficiency through process optimization. Experience in automotive components industry will be a plus.
