Who are you: You are a security consultant with in-depth knowledge of telecoms networks, IP networks, IT infrastructures, and applications. You are well-versed in security technologies, standards, regulations, and methodologies. You have a comprehensive understanding of firewalls, routing, zoning concepts (segregation of networks), and Web Application Firewalls (WAF). You are also knowledgeable about security across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including DevSecOps methodologies, CI/CD architecture, secure design strategies, and security scanning tools and technologies.
What you will do:
- Understand business and technical requirements of a given project and provide security requirements.
- Analyse design and provide articulate solutions to ensure compliance with Vodafone security policy, controls, and best practices.
- Ensure that business requirements continue to be met while reducing and documenting risk.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, including communication across Vodafone global entities.
What skills you need:
- In-depth knowledge of telecoms networks and IP networks.
- Understanding of IT infrastructures and applications.
- Proficiency in security technologies, standards, regulations, and methodologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of firewalls, routing, zoning concepts, and WAF.
- Knowledge of security across the SDLC, including DevSecOps methodologies, CI/CD architecture, secure design strategies, and security scanning tools and technologies.
What skills you will learn:
- Advanced security compliance and risk management techniques.
- Enhanced stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Latest trends and technologies in security for telecoms and IT infrastructures.
