Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.POSITION SUMMARYTheData and Business Intelligence Analystwill play a key role in building and maintaining EduFinance’s data infrastructure while delivering insightful analysis through Power BI and Excel. The role is a hybrid between data engineering and analytics, requiring strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data pipelines, as well as the ability to translate data into actionable insights.RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.DataSupervise management and maintenance ofdata collectiontools that are used by all EduFinance departments (EFP, Education Quality, MERL)E.g., Fulcrum, Google Forms, Titus, SalesforceDesign, build and maintainrobust ETL pipelines(e.g., Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, APIs).Administrationandoptimizationof the EduFinance SQL database on Microsoft AzureEnsurehigh-quality , clean, and well-documented data pipelines and dataflowsImplement and maintain data quality controls.Manage special data projects as EduFinance expands into new areasBusiness Intelligence & AnalyticsDevelop and maintaininteractive PBIdashboards and automated reportingtools for EFP, Education Quality, MERLConduct in-depth analysisusing SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel to provide actionable insights to support decision-makingUse Excel (including Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, and macros where applicable) forad hoc analysesPresent findingsand insights to internal teams, financial institution partners, and other stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.Ensure dashboards and data collection tools are accurately reflecting the status of the programSpecial projects that require data analysis for the purposes of making stronger business decisions.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYNoneQUALIFICATIONSUndergraduate degree in data science, computer engineering, statistics, or another quantitative field requiredMinimum 3 years’ experience inSQLdevelopment and database administration experience (Azure SQL preferred).Minimum 3 years’ experience building and maintainingETLpipelines (Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, or similar tools).Proficiency with APIs and data integration methods.AdvancedExcelskills (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, macros a plus).Expertise inPower BI(DAX, data modeling, dashboard/report design).Proficiency inPythonfor data transformation, automation, and analysis.Passionate about Opportunity’s mission.
