Civil Drafter

JOB DESCRIPTION- DRAFTSMAN We are hiring a detail-oriented and technically skilled Civil Draftsman to support the design of ground-mounted and rooftop solar PV systems for industrial, commercial, and utility-scale projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with civil and electrical design engineers to develop topographical integrations, PV layout plans, civil a using AutoCAD and related software. KEY RESPONSIBITIES Prepare site layout drawings including: Module mounting structures (MMS) foundation layout PV layout plan Inverter and control room placement AC/DC Cable trench routing Switchyard and transformer foundation drawings AC & DC SLDs Fencing and approach road layout Generate detailed civil GA drawings, plans and sectional views. Draft pile layout drawings, RCC pedestal details, and equipment foundation drawings. Update drawings as per site topography, survey data, and geotechnical reports Prepare as-built drawings, good for construction drawings (GFC), and revisions Ensure all drawings comply with: Relevant IS codes (IS 456, IS 800, etc.) Project-specific structural and electrical design norms Coordinate with site engineers, structural consultants, and project managers Maintain drawing control registers and document logs QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Educational Background B.E. /Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering / Draftsmanship from a recognized institute Technical Skills Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) & SketchUp — mandatory Familiarity with MS Office Experience with: Ground-mounted solar layout principles Survey-to-drawing conversion using topographic maps Urban planning & site development plans Civil BOQ preparation support Professional Attributes Detail-oriented and accurate Able to interpret civil and electrical design inputs Strong coordination and documentation skills Ability to work under deadlines with minimal supervision
