We at Ambuja Neotia seek an incumbent experienced SAP ABAP Consultant for a Manager (Mid-Senior Level) position to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with 5+ years of experience in ABAP development and SAP implementations, who are looking to contribute to a leading organization in a high-impact role. As part of our SAP team, you will play a key role in enhancing and optimizing our SAP systems, ensuring the seamless integration of business processes with technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support SAP ABAP development initiatives, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, providing technical solutions aligned with business goals.
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs, enhancements, and reports.
Manage SAP objects, including the design and development of interfaces, forms, and reports.
Perform debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to resolve issues in SAP ABAP applications.
Provide expertise in the SAP modules, ensuring effective integration and support with other modules like SD, MM, FI, CO, and more.
Mentor and guide junior consultants, ensuring knowledge transfer and best practices.
Participate in the planning and execution of SAP projects, ensuring successful project delivery.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize processes and improve system functionality.
Support system upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal business disruption.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong knowledge of SAP modules (SD, MM, FI/CO, etc.) and how they integrate with ABAP.
Proven expertise in ABAP programming , including reports, forms (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms), user exits, BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, and ALE/IDOCs.
Strong understanding of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and integration technologies.
Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP ABAP applications.
Ability to lead and mentor teams of junior consultants and developers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with stakeholders and team members.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Advanced degrees or certifications in SAP ABAP are a plus.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
