Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated SAP BTP CAPM Consultant with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying cloud applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) . The ideal candidate should have practical expertise in CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) , Node.js / Java , and Fiori/UI5 . You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, build, and integrate scalable cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) on SAP BTP. Work with Node.js or Java for backend development and SAP UI5/Fiori for frontend. Develop and maintain OData / RESTful APIs and integrate with SAP S/4 HANA , Success Factors , or other SAP modules. Configure and manage BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud , Destination Service , XSUAA , Workflow , and Business Rules . Implement best practices for CI/CD , version control (Git) , and code quality . Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize performance, and ensure security compliance. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions. Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP innovations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in SAP BTP development , including CAPM projects . Strong programming skills in Node.js or Java . Hands-on experience with SAP UI5/Fiori , OData services , and HANA Cloud DB . Good understanding of authentication and authorization (XSUAA) and JWT tokens . Experience with Git , Jenkins , or other CI/CD tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Knowledge of SAP Cloud SDK or Business Application Studio (BAS) is a plus. Nice to Have: Experience in Event Mesh , SAP Build Apps , or SAP Integration Suite . Exposure to SAP S/4 HANA extensions and Side-by-Side Extensibility . SAP BTP certification is an added advantage.
