Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with a proven track record in designing and developing enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of overall application development experience, including 8+ years of hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE, microservices, and caching technologies. This role requires strong technical leadership in building and maintaining high-performance REST APIs and gRPC interfaces, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security. The candidate should possess deep knowledge and experience in Spring Boot, Light4J, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), along with proficiency in complex SQL development. Excellent communication skills and experience working in the banking or financial domain are highly desirable.Position: Senior Java DeveloperExperience: 12+ yearsWork Mode: HybridLocation: ChennaiRequired Skills:Minimum 12+ years of Application development experience8+ years HANDS-ON development experience in Java/J2EE/microservices and CachingBuild, modify and maintain high-performance REST API, gRPC Interface using Java technologiesKnowledge of Web Services/microservices integration (REST, JSON, WSDL/SOAP, XML).Implement APIs based on architecture frameworks (light4j, Spring/Springboot, gRPC framework), specifications and guidelinesProficient in writing complex SQL queries (sub queries, aggregation, filtering, joints)Working experience in any cloud platform is desirable (Azure, AWS or GCP).Analyze, design, develop and maintain secure code practices that provide value-added features to applicationsParticipate in peer reviews to ensure that code delivery meets specific standards and best practicesExperience architecting complex systems considering scalability, performance, and maintainability.Excellent communication and co-ordination skillsKnowledge of Banking/financial industry is highly desirable
