Planning Specialist

Act as the subject matter expert for all tasks related to Dam Break Analysis and Inundation Mapping .
Lead the preparation and finalization of Tier-I documents following standards from BIS Codes, national guidelines/manuals, or international best practices.
Provide technical support for the development and finalization of Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) .
Review and finalize plans presented in Project Support Teams (PSTs) .
Design and deliver customized training courses on:
Dam Break Analysis
Preparation and implementation of EAPs
Conduct capacity building programs for DRIP Implementing Agencies (IAs).
Assist in the finalization of integrated operations of important or cascade reservoirs.
Conduct dam safety inspections and manage related documentation and communication (transmittals).
Contribute data and insights to the National Dam Safety Information System and Management Information System (MIS) .
Support the development of in-house expertise at select academic institutions.
Support preparation of Project Rehabilitation Reports (PRRs) .
Assist in the finalization and training of the Construction Supervision & Quality Assurance (CS&QA) Manual and Plan .
Perform any other DRIP-related activities as assigned by the Project Director, DRIP, CWC.
