SSPU invites applications for the position of Director – School of Retail Management. We are seeking a dynamic academic leader with strong expertise in retail and e-commerce, combining teaching excellence, research capability, and industry engagement. The role involves academic leadership, curriculum development, faculty mentoring, research promotion, and industry collaboration across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.Key Responsibilities:- Provide academic leadership and strategic direction for the School of Retail Management- Design, deliver, and oversee undergraduate and postgraduate courses in retail and e-commerce- Develop and update curriculum aligned with industry trends and digital retail transformation- Mentor faculty and guide students on academic progress, projects, internships, and dissertations- Lead and promote research activities and publications in peer-reviewed journals- Foster industry partnerships for live projects, consultancy, internships, and collaborative research- Participate in academic planning, accreditation processes, and university committeesPreferred Skills & Experience- Strong academic and leadership experience in retail and e-commerce domains- Industry collaboration or consultancy experience in retail, e-commerce, or allied sectors- Knowledge of emerging trends in digital retail, AI applications, and e-commerce platforms- Innovative teaching pedagogy with a focus on experiential and student-centric learning- Proven ability to build industry-academia partnershipsApply On :
