Job Title: Data Scientist – Prompt Engineering (Generative AI & NLP)Experience: 4–7 YearsLocation: Pune (Hybrid – Viman Nagar) / Remote (IST-aligned)Notice Period: Immediate – 10 DaysAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Data Scientist specialized in Prompt Engineering, Generative AI, and NLP to join our team. This is a client-facing role where you will design and deliver scalable AI/ML solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. You will work on cutting-edge technologies such as RAG architectures, multi-agent AI frameworks, and LLM optimization while collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into AI/ML solutions.Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures for knowledge-intensive tasks.Apply prompt engineering techniques to optimize LLM performance.Develop agentic AI workflows using multi-agent and autonomous frameworks.Fine-tune and deploy NLP/Generative AI models for summarization, Q&A, and conversational AI use cases.Document structured reasoning chains to ensure transparency and reproducibility.Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into client environments .Required Skills4–7 years of experience in AI/ML, NLP, or Generative AI .Proven experience in client-facing roles with strong communication skills.Hands-on expertise with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex (or similar).Strong programming skills in Python , with experience in PyTorch/TensorFlow and Hugging Face .Proficiency in vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Chroma).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Nice to HaveExperience in end-to-end GenAI product development (from POC to production).Background in LLM fine-tuning and optimization .Knowledge of Responsible AI practices and Data Governance .If you’re passionate about pushing the boundaries of Generative AI and thrive in client-focused environments, we’d love to connect with you
