Job Description:
The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. The Business Analyst will be involved in managing and facilitating the functional requirements for cloud-based software projects, ensuring that the solutions meet business needs and align with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end users.
- Collaborate with project management and IT teams to establish robust requirements and ensure clear communication and understanding of those requirements.
- Manage the functional scope of the project to ensure delivery within the constraints of time, resources, and budget.
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and liaise with stakeholders to refine the project outputs.
- Develop user stories and scenarios for the development teams to implement.
- Act as a liaison between the technical team and stakeholders, providing clear and consistent communication across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that the solutions developed by technical teams are aligned with the business objectives and meet all requirements.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
- Develop testing plan and test cases to validate developed features during SIT and UAT
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in cloud-based solutions and business analysis.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in cloud-based software projects.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficient in documenting processes and writing clear, concise requirements.
- Strong experience in using business analysis tools and business process modeling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adept at conducting research and managing complex data.
