Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Architecture: Design and architect end-to-end data science solutions aligned with business objectives and technical requirements, including data ingestion, pre-processing, modelling, and deployment, while ensuring integration with existing systems.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to data scientists, data engineers, and stakeholders, staying current with advancements in data science and AI to enhance solution designs.
Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data science projects on time and within budget, collaborating with project managers on scope, milestones, and progress updates.
Data Strategy and Governance: Define data strategy and governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance, establishing best practices for data acquisition, storage, and processing.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business stakeholders to translate needs into technical requirements and communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, fostering knowledge sharing and innovation.
Solution Implementation and Deployment: Oversee the implementation and deployment of data science solutions, ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance in production environments, with code reviews to uphold best practices.
Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting: Optimize solution performance, including model accuracy, computational efficiency, and resource utilization, creating reusable modules and resolving technical issues.
Required Skills:
Programming : Proficient in Python, R, and Scala.
ML Frameworks : Skilled in TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
Generative AI : Familiarity with GenAI (GPT, BERT, etc.) and experience in model fine-tuning.
MLOps : Knowledgeable in CI/CD, MLflow, Kubeflow, TFX.
Data Manipulation : Proficient in SQL, Apache Spark, and Hadoop.
Cloud Platforms : Experience in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud for scalable deployments.
Containerization and Orchestration : Skilled in Docker and Kubernetes.
Big Data Technologies : Familiar with tools like Apache Kafka, Apache Flink.
Additional Skills
Experience in project oversight without requiring formal PM certification.
Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Expertise in defining data governance frameworks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
