Senior NMS Developer Job Description Position: Senior NMS Developer Location: Remote Role Overview As a Senior Network Management System Developer , you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the NMS platform supporting LEO Lightspeed networks . The role requires working within an Agile SAFe framework to deliver robust, scalable, and high-quality CNMS solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and enhance OSS/NMS systems for resource management, service monitoring, and fault management. • Lead technical design and integration for Lightspeed network management solutions. • Collaborate with vendors and ensure solutions align with industry standards. • Maintain comprehensive CNMS documentation for transparency and operational efficiency. • Develop YANG modules for modular resource and fault management functions. • Design and maintain automated test suites for CNMS validation. • Define and enforce network security standards; contribute to system-level modeling. Required Skills & Experience: • 5–10 years of experience in technical design and development roles. • Expertise in Layer 2/3 protocols, g RPC/g NMI/g NOI, HTTP/2, and m TLS. • Strong programming experience in Python 3.x and BDD-based test frameworks. • Hands-on experience with Linux environments, containers, and YANG/NMTS XML, YAML, JSON . • Familiarity with Netcracker, ONAP, Blue Planet, or Amdocs OSS/NMS tools. • Knowledge of IP, MPLS, SR-MPLS, Ethernet, VLAN, MEF, and TMF standards.
